Preventative Maintenance

Unlike other testing techniques where electrical load is de-energised to enable testing, Tegg Service is performed energized, by using world leading testing technologies and systems to perform an accurate energised assessment of a building's electrical infrastructure whilst operating under normal conditions.

TEGG provides a unique testing regime, along with conditional data collection which has previously been impossible to obtain. Instead of implementing costly downtime for testing, which can only supply offline readings, TEGG enables the testing and monitoring of systems under their operational loads. This unique testing regime provides accurate data and readings of system and component performance in Real-Time.

Methodology

Tegg service is performed by:

Initially taking an inventory of all electrical equipment to be inspected. Name plate data is recorded along with location and digital images taken for reference.
Prior to commencing live testing, all equipment is ultrasonically tested to negate arc-flash possibility prior to equipment being accessed.
Each device is digitally and thermally imaged, followed by ultrasonic probe testing with images and soundwaves recorded on bespoke TEGG software.

Following Thermal and Ultrasound tests, Voltage, current and power quality analysis testing is then performed on each piece of equipment and results recorded.
All equipment is then sealed in normal operating mode.

Following all of the above points and successfully collecting all data, we are then able to analyse each piece of equipment, to assess its condition and identify any anomalies.
All of the above is carried out without any interruption to business.

All instruments utilised in this process are unique to TEGG and each collects associated data to enable accurate condition reporting.
